A Bit About Jill
Jill Merrill finds it immensely rewarding to support people through life transitions and help them gain
the tools they need to successfully cope with those changes. Trained to provide counseling to
individuals, couples, and families, her clients range from adults to adolescents and young children.
Jill has deep experience with individuals navigating ADHD, depression, and anxiety, and also spent 10+ years working with seniors as a counselor and memory care director—giving her unique insights into caregiver needs, dementia challenges, and other related issues.
She believes every individual gains tools as they learn from their experiences, and that those can be
turned into strengths to lean on in times of difficulty. Given a safe environment with unconditional
positive regard and compassionate listening, everyone can discover their true potential.
Jill has a master’s degree in mental health counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, both from Saint Martin’s University. She likes to hike, kayak, cook, travel, and spend time with her loved ones.
